Hello everyone. I am reminiscing today....
I opened my recipe book for the first time in a long time, and this is the first thing that I see. This is the loaf that "started it all". I started in 2020, delivering these loaves and more to my loyal customers' doorsteps. All of my recipes only really make sense to me. They are all half written. So, if you can figure out how to bake this loaf, this recipe is for you.
I love what I do now, but I think about Messy Bessie's and our time together every single day. I don't miss it enough to open another restaurant right now, but I might start baking a little here and there again. No, I am not taking orders. I need to bake for my family before I start baking for others again.
I hope you all are well, and selfishly, I hope you miss Messy Bessie's as much as I do.
