T&T Supermarket of Richmond B.C. made its U.S debut in Bellevue, WA, this last December with a 76,000-square-foot grocery store and an Asian food court that includes a street food booth, a dim sum display case, a noodle stand, a sushi bar, and T&T’s famous 300-item bakery/deli. It is the largest grocery store in Washington. There’s a dim sum display case with 20 deep-fried and steamed items, including har gow shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, and the signature pork buns. There’s a barbecue carving station with lamb ribs, roasted pork, chicken wings, and the best-selling Peking duck. A 20-item hot bar, a street-food-style booth, a noodle-and-rice station with wonton soup and Taiwanese-style sticky rice rolls, stands with spatchcocked fried chicken, and a sushi aisle. This article is from the Seattle Times, written by Tan Vinh. When the store opened, people waited hours to get in. My family and I waited a few weeks before trying to get in.
It was crazy busy, and it did not disappoint.
I took several videos/pictures. The first video is from the street food booth. It is a must-watch video. The last photo is of a Taiwanese sticky rice roll. It has white and purple rice, pork floss, marinated eggs, Chinese sausage, bean curd, pickled mustard greens, and pickled radishes.

We have breakfast bierocks for those of you who have been asking. And, of course, 48 hours before you close, we need to try something new. Try our German sausage slider: a homemade roll with a German Sausage patty. Why not?

Menu for the week.

Wednesday through Saturday
Schnitzel sandwiches, Bierocks, German potato salad, and roasted potato salad.
We will add tacos on Saturday and Sunday.
We will close on Sunday when we have sold the last taco (thank you, Anne L.).
The tacos will be sold without a side and with a house-blended Mexican Cheese.
Our breakfast menu will remain the same.

We have a handwritten sign on the refrigerator in the back. It says, “We don’t know what we are doing, but we serve good food.”
None of us have ever worked in food service, but we like good food and like to share with everyone who likes good food.

We’d love to see you.

We are open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
We will have Caramel, Cinnamon, peach-raspberry-cheesecake kolaches, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, and breakfast sandwiches.
Lunch: German bratwurst, potato salad, sauerkraut, and Bierocks.

Anja’s friend has graciously supplied us with German Bratwurst. Please come in this week for the bratwurst, German potato salad, and red cabbage. We will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 am to 2 pm and Sunday for breakfast. Our last day will be July 21.

This week’s special is Schnitzel in three different ways. Jaeger is a mushroom gravy, Zigeuner is a bell pepper gravy, and Wiener is with lemon. We serve it with Anja’s German potato salad. We hope to see you!
