1. What inspired you to start your business or enter your current profession? I've been baking since I was young, alongside my mom. What has always been a hobby for me, turned into sharing treats with friends, family and coworkers. With their encouragement, I took the leap to start my home bakery business.

2. What is your business known for, and what sets it apart from others in your industry? Boo's Bakery MN is becoming known for custom decorated sugar cookies! These cookies are made to order, baked fresh, hand decorated and fully customizable.

3. What’s the most rewarding part of your work? Having the opportunity to connect with my community has been the most rewarding. I've had the chance to donate baked goods to fundraisers within and around Cottage Grove that has led to expanding my network and creating relationships with new customers.

4. What’s one fun or surprising fact people may not know about you? I own over 180 cookie cutters!

5. What’s a recent success or milestone you’re proud of? One of my favorite memories of 2025 was seeing my hand decorated cookies on display at the Minnesota State Fair for the first time. While I didn't take home a ribbon, having my work showcased for the duration of the Great Minnesota Get Together was a worthwhile and challenging experience.
