Is it something you cook or make for your family or the time with family or smells that build the memories? When I started this homemade baking business in January of 2020, it was with the idea that everything would be made from scratch. Mainly because of my own memories in the kitchen of cooking and baking with my family. Coming from a big family, everything was made from scratch so never in a mi

llion years did I imagined how much fun I was going to have baking for my community. When I say baked from scratch, I mean that I use basic ingredients from start to finish. I make buttercream frosting with real butter and our custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies made completely from scratch with fresh eggs and real butter. I hope you have some great memories of homemade baked goods, where the scent of fresh-baked bread or chocolate chip cookies came from a kitchen with people who loved and cared about you. This is where homemade becomes a beautiful description of a place in time that we felt loved, or even safe. If you were lucky enough to experience this with someone special, then you know what I’m talking about. Everything I bake is not only made fresh but it's truly made with love and joy. Finally, I hope that your visit to this website will be fun and mouth watering. We are a home kitchen in Cottage Grove Minnesota. Please allow some time (24 hours for general orders and 1 week for custom orders) for your order to be created. Visits are by appointment only. Dear Friends,
After months of careful consideration, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Coley Cakery.
Over the past seven years, our lives—and the world around us—have changed in many ways. While this decision was not an easy one, we know it is the right time for us to begin a new chapter.
We cannot thank you enough for the support, encouragement, and trust you have given us throughout this journey. Every cupcake, cake, pie, cookie, and custom treat we created was made with gratitude and love. 🍪 The photos you shared of birthdays, baptisms, graduations, holidays, and other special moments brought us so much joy and reminded us why we started this business in the first place.
Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your family's celebrations and milestones. The relationships we've built and the memories we've shared will stay with us forever.
As the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens. We look forward to seeing what the future holds and are deeply grateful for the wonderful community that supported us along the way.
