After you’ve gotten some Cardamom Buns, try our Pumpkin-Ginger Scones, Puff Pastry Tarts, Apple Spice Muffins (vegan), and Crispy Rye Crackers. Add some Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies and Graham Crackers and go home happy!

Next Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving so we're making Canadian Butter tarts to celebrate with our friends and family who live up north.

AND its Farm-to-Table month so we're featuring Bruce’s Mulitgrain bread made with Oregon-grown whole rye flour and local hard wheat from Hunton’s Farm and Camas Country Mill in Eugene. Our Fig-Anise Barley Bread includes barley flour from Harcombe Farm near Albany.

Other locally-produced, organic-grain sourdoughs for Wednesday will be Oregon Country, Whole Wheat, and Cinnamon Rolls (with no nuts this week). Chocolate Chip scones and Lavender Shortbread Cookies round out the selection. Join us at market!

The outpouring of gratitude we've received from the Co-op Community since the Jan. 29 fire at the South Store's Annex building has been simply amazing. We'd like to thank you all for your kind words and offers of assistance. 💖 We've had so many folks asking what they can do to help. (y'all are truly the best!) Currently, the best way to support us is also the simplest—come and shop or order for Pick-up & Delivery (firstalt.coop/order). The South Store is open 8am-8pm daily for all your grocery needs and we'd love to see you there! It's that kind of support that's kept us going strong for 50 years and counting, and nothing could mean more to us. 💖 Out back, the recovery process is underway. We're currently working to determine the best way forward with the annex building. Meanwhile, the Co-op Kitchen is exploring their options, looking for the best way to get us cooking again. Thankfully, our Deli has lots of great, locally-made options from Trazza Foods, Whole Flower Farms, Higher Taste, and Wild Yeast Community Supported Bakery. (And there's more coming soon!)
