We will meet on March 25 at the New China Buffet in Corvallis OR at 11 to eat. The speaker will be Will Lathrop who is runing for Oregon's Attorney General. He will speak between 12-1.

The Benton Co Republican Women will meet on February 26 at the New China Buffet at 11 AM. The speaker will be Kathryn Hickok from Cascade Policy Institute and she will talk at noon on School Choice. A School Choice account of $7600 can be used for private schools and homeschools.They will have petitions there for people to sign to get School Choice on the ballot for Oregon.

The Benton Co Republican Women will meet Monday Jan 22 at the New China Buffet on 9th St in Corvallis. People may eat at 11 and a speaker from Consumer Powers will talk about power outages at noon. Gerry Briggs the president of the OFRW will also be present.

On Monday October 23 BCRW will have their meeting at New China Buffet on 9th st. in Corvallis. We will eat at 11 and at 12, John Morford will tell us about the American Legion and the work they do such as American Legion baseball team post 11, Boys's and Girl's State, helping Veterans, etc.

We will be meeting this month on July 24 at the Lions shelter at Avery Park at 11 AM for our summer picnic. Please bring salads and BCRW will provide chicken, dessert, water paper plates, napkins and silverware.
The speaker will be Eric Ely who is a very motivational speaker. This is what I read about him online: Director of Player Personnel/Assistant to the Head Coach, Ely will focus on the development of the student-athletes, as well as carrying out administrative duties and working to continue the Beavers’ extensive community service efforts.
Prior to the 2016-17 season, Ely transitioned into a new position on the OSU staff, taking over as Assistant Athletic Director for Women’s Basketball. In his new role, Ely shifted his focus to enhancing the Beavers’ community service engagement. He spearheaded a relationship between the Oregon State team and Southside Youth Outreach in Corvallis, encouraging student-athletes to volunteer with under-privileged kids in the area. Ely also organized numerous events at local nursing homes, schools and community events.

I have heard him speak and it will be a great meeting. Please invite others.

BCRW will meet Monday April 24 at the New China Buffet at 11 AM in Corvallis, Or. the speaker will be John Sarna and he will tell the pros and cons of the $110 million bond in May for the Justice Center.
