This is the topsy turvy cake we had this weekend for a family birthday celebration. If you think it looks a little slanted, that's just because it is! I wanted something fun and whimsical for my aunt so this is what I did...enjoy!

After I run some errands today, I will be back home cooking, baking, and getting ready for the family reunion. I am also going to make some teachers' gifts as a way to say thank you for doing such a great job...I am thinking a red velvet cake, cream cheese icing, and zebra stripes...what would you like to see and taste when you open one of our cake boxes?

Getting ready to do some more cakes toward the end of this week and the first/middle of next week...I will post pics when I am done. I am thinking the cake I will take to the family reunion this weekend will be a purse cake. Now, I just have to decide what flavor. What is your favorite cake and icing flavor combination?
