Good morning! I was going to close the waffle last night after the little went to bed but I got busy and fell asleep. I had 2 people buy in so I’m going to keep it open until I get back from dropping off kids at school. I will spin the wheel at 9am.

💛Childhood Cancer Month💛
At just 11 weeks old, Shevelle was diagnosed with Infant B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) with a KMT2A rearrangement, a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. She has now been in treatment for 285 days and counting. Her treatment protocol is a minimum of 2 years, and unfortunately, she currently faces a 60% chance of relapse before completing those two years. Within the first week of her diagnosis, Shevelle also lost her right leg due to a complication during a medical procedure. Despite everything she has endured at such a young age, she continues to fight every single day. Shevelle is one of four children, and her mom has been by her side at the hospital throughout this journey.

💛💛CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH💛💛
Tomorrow I will be posting a cookie waffle but this one will be a little different then my normal. This will be for Childhood Cancer and I will be donating 100% to a certain family. This waffle and cause are deeply personal for me as I know too well what childhood cancer can do to a family. My niece Morgan lost her battle with cancer at just 3 years old, in November it will be 19 years. Because of Morgan, this is more than just a cause to me. I know what it means to watch a child fight. I know the fears and hardships the parents and family face. I want to use the love I have for Morgan and keep her memory alive by helping another family. Tomorrow I will post the story of sweet Shevelle and the details for the waffle.

I haven’t posted in a while been busy with a new hobby. But yes I’m still making cookies. So I’m going to start this hobby with a waffle.
Custom doormats and wood signs. I’ll post pictures of the ones I’ve made so far.
