Good Palm Sunday morning everyone! This seems like a good time to catch you up!
The past 2 years have been a wild ride for both Tad and me. I’ve made a hundred changes to recapture and keep my health so I can do what I love! Students (many who have special challenges) have kept me busy in my kitchen. At the same time Tad, now having our beloved Terri with him full time, has been growing many new skills and his life is taking on a major new direction in the realm of drawing, hoping someday to be able to animate shows!
Tad’s Tasty Treats was built to get Tad started towards taking on whatever he dreamed his life could be. Now, he actively cooks with me, making our meals as part of his routine. At the same time I am challenged myself as to how much work I can reasonably do and it has been strongly suggested I pull back my workload.
Soooo, with a bit of sadness but a huge sense of accomplishment, I have made the decision not to return to the Farmer’s Market. Will you see me? ABSOLUTELY because that’s where I get the finest meats, eggs, sourdough, jams, fruits, veggies and of course coffee!
Can you still special order? As my time permits, of course! Can you gather a group and take a class? You bet! I’m not going anywhere; it’s just time after 8 years to let the young pups do the heavy lifting!
We haven’t the words to begin to tell you how thankful we are that this community embraced, marveled at and supported what an autistic man and his dear old mom could do! We love you…we support you…and we look forward to what lies ahead!
With love, Kim and Tad
