What I love about baking is that it’s (relatively) easy to learn, but so so hard to master. Cakes, breads, pies, etc..once you really dig beneath the surface there is so much subtly and nuance. Seemingly small alterations result in huge textural and flavor differences. Chocolate chip cookies are no exception. These aren’t perfect by any means, but they are the clear winner out of many, many recipes I’ve tested. Shout out to for this exhaustively researched recipe. They definitely do not disappoint!!
