Happy Tuesday everyone! I just wanted to hop on here and talk about something..

Cakes.

I honestly don’t have a lot of time left in the day for cakes so what I’m able to do is very limited.

I spent so many years doing very intricate and time consuming birthday cakes. As much as I LOVED being a part of those awesome celebrations, it almost drove me crazy. I am very hard on myself and my work.. I was taking too many orders.. I was losing sleep..

I was so BLESSED when I came to Corinth and there was a big enough demand for daily sweets like cupcakes. I was able to be a little easier on myself.. I could be flexible for my family.. I could take a DEEP BREATH.

So.. what do I do? Basic stuff. Flowers? Sure! Patterns? Sure! I will write whatever you want to on it in ANY color. I love doing cakes and you guys finding cute toppers for it.. I mean.. I’m not dead. I’m just tired.

What will I NOT do? Fondant, edible images, multiple tiered birthday cakes covered in 100 colors… there are people out there for that and they are amazing at it. I want to stay in my basic lane right now..

There is a chance I can sneak a cake in at the last minute, but yall- there are customers calling me weeks and months in advance to get on the schedule so I’m doing the best I can.

I would also like to thank each and every one of you who support me and my business. I have developed so many friendships doing this and that means more to me than anything. You guys coming and buying cupcakes makes it possible for me to support my family and help my community. Every week I’m blown away by the love.
