Honey Binks provided the snacks for this Happiest Baby Shower on Earth. The cookies were individually packaged and tagged as favors for guests to take home. Honey Binks does gourmet popcorn as well as baked items. It’s the branch that we call Walkers Golden Hive Popcorn. These are named for our grandson’s Binks (Charlie’s nickname) and Walker, our baby due in August. Each kernel is bathed in a crunchy caramel coating to ensure a long term crunch. The next layer of these 2 flavors are a creamy white chocolate. What follows is our strawberry shortcake crunch and a crunchy Oreo crumble. They are delicious and so much fun. Great for showers, parties or just watching a movie. A shareable bag is $12 and is always made fresh to order in small batches. We also have my favorite,Twisted Sugar Crunch. Walker’s Sticky Fingers Caramel with mixed nuts is a little different, it only has caramel and the addition of premium mixed nuts for $14 per shareable bag. More flavors coming soon. Today the kitchen has been buzzing but it wasn’t me. Aiden and Ruby were in the kitchen baking all day. The strawberry lemon blossoms are Aiden’s creation and they are wonderful. Aiden has also been baking bread the last few days. She made a spicy jalapeño cheddar bread this weekend, homemade burger buns for her birthday celebration and these huge, delicious loafs of freshly baked bread. This is not on the current summer menu but can be ordered at anytime. $12 per loaf. You won’t be disappointed.
