I’m Amy Husted, owner and operator of La Hoot Bakery. I fell in love with the crafting of cakes and cake pops in 2012. I then ran La Hoot for three successful years until 2015 when I pressed pause to put all of my efforts into building Komae - Be the Village, a tech startup that brings the babysitting co-op into the 21st century by putting it into a modern day app.

While Komae is still growing strong and remains my #1 priority, I’ve decided to reignite my cake pop hobby and re-open La Hoot on a limited basis starting in November of 2018.

In an effort to bring you the best products and still retain my sanity as a wife, mother and entrepreneur, I will not be offering custom cakes and cupcakes, but will focus on custom cake pops with an emphasis on Friday Features and Holiday Specials.

I’m excited to have you here and look forward to making your days a little more sweet with your favorite cake pops.
