Today’s cookie stop is a little piece of Coos County history: the McCullough Bridge. This beautiful bridge is one of those familiar local landmarks that feels like home.. and now it gets its own sweet little spot in the cookie series! 🍪

Today’s cookie stop is a super sweet one: Sugar Shack Bakery in Reedsport. They have always been one of my favorite stops for a delicious cake donut. 🩷 And because it wouldn’t be Sugar Shack without it, there’s a bonus cookie too: a “Big Foot”, the treat they’re known for!

WELCOME TO NORTH BEND… but make it a COOKIE. 🍪🌲❤️

Today’s cookie stop takes us to one of those landmarks that instantly makes you feel like you’re home: the iconic “Welcome to North Bend” sign along Highway 101.

You know the one… the sign that greets you as you roll into town and lets you know you’ve officially arrived in North Bend, Oregon! There’s something so special about the familiar places we pass by all the time… the ones that might seem ordinary at first, but become part of the scenery, the memories, and the story of where we live. So, naturally… it needed its very own cookie. 🍪

This is Coos County, one cookie at a time: my little edible love letter to the places, landmarks, and history that make this community feel like home. And while you’re following along…
