As I’m preparing for another service, I can’t help but think about each one of you.
No matter what kind of day you’re having—or what kind of day I’m having—there’s always a smile, a kind word, a laugh, or a little encouragement exchanged across the counter.
Seeing so many of you once, twice, and in some cases a few times every single week has become something I don’t quite know how to put into words. You’re not just church people getting coffee. You’ve become part of our weeks, our routines, and our lives.
Please know that your time, your patience, your encouragement, and your hard-earned money are never taken for granted.
Every dollar you spend with us matters. It helps us give back to the church—first fruits and all! 🙌—but it also helps us restock, build, grow, and keep showing up to serve you again. In ways you may never fully realize, you have blessed our family more than I ever could have imagined.
Tomorrow will be our 45th service at the café. We’re almost six months in, and somehow we’ve poured more cold brews than I can count, and baked over 1000 cinnamon rolls. 🤯☕️
But those numbers aren’t what make this worth it.
You do.
Every person who stops by. Every “good morning.” Every conversation. Every person who comes back the next service and says, “Give me my usual.” Every bit of patience when there’s a line. Every person who tells a friend. Every person who buys a roll, grabs a coffee, or simply takes a minute to encourage us.
You have helped turn New Life’s café counter into something incredibly special to our family.
So as I get ready to do it all again, I just wanted to say:
Thank you. Truly.
Thank you for showing up, supporting us, and letting us serve you. Thank you for blessing our family while giving us the opportunity to bless our church.
We don’t take a single bit of it for granted.
Here’s to service #45—and a whole lot more cinnamon rolls and cold brews to come. We love you!! 🤍☕️
