Breakfast was amazing today! Banana chocolate chip bread from Pa’al Selah. We picked it up at the Marshfield Farmers' Market. The whole loaf is almost gone already! Glad I got to snag a peice before my family ate it all.

Its Sunday! And that means it's discount bread day!

Why do we discount our sourdough? After its been on the shelf for 48 hours I like to mark it down to 6 dollars to get it moving. Before I had the store it just went to the pigs. But now I have a better opportunity to get it on the tables of more of my favorite customers.

As a baker my favorite thing is to trade with other bakers. Violet's Basket makes the perfect garlic parmesan focaccia! It is so full of flavor. She uses fresh milled flour in all of her products. Last week we got a brownie and my husband had it eaten before I ever got a picture. I got a bit and it was addictive! You can find all her amazing products at the Marshfield Farmers' Market every friday 2:30-6:30.

This last week I got a little too excited and baked too many loaves of bread. I discounted them on Sunday in hopes that they would move. You all really came through I was able to cover my cost of my mess up and then donate the left overs to Harvest On Wheels.

If you're a vendor and you have left overs of anything you aren't going to use for your next market this is such a great organization to donate to.

When I started my bread business I have always said I wanted to help people more than anything. There was a time in my life that a loaf of nourishing bread really would have changed my life. I know to some its just sourdough but to me it is so much more than that I want to help the world one loaf at a time.

ATTENTION!!
Starting this week I will be offering organic classic loaves by pre-order only. Please have your pre-orders in by monday of each week with what day you want to pick up during store hours or farmers markets.

My regular sourdough classic loaves and inclusion loaves will still be stocked at Redfield's Local Market & Bakehouse and all of the farmers markets I attend.

It has come to my attention that this is something a few of my customers are really wanting and I am wanting to provide that for them.
