🍁🍂Does anyone else wake up at the beginning of September, sniffing the air for the first smell of juicy apple, spiced pumpkins, crisp leaves, and cooler air.....only to quickly realize that we are in SC and probably not going to smell all that for awhile 🤔? Just us?

Here at Levé, we, along with folks all over the world, are mourning the sweet and stunning Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean.
Dolly Parton was profoundly more than just a flashy, rhinestone-wearing, singer/actress. She was the very definition of empathy, generosity, and love. From humble beginnings, as one of 12 children living in a tiny cabin in the mountains of Tennessee.....to a woman who likely GAVE away more riches than she ever kept for herself.
Dolly always said her favorite dessert was her mother, Avie Lee Parton's, sweet southern banana pudding with meringue!
*Today* in the shop, and hopefully for the remainder of this week, we will have The Dolly croissant: sweet vanilla cream, bananas, and that melt-in-your-mouth meringue! In her honor, we will be donating all proceeds from The Dolly croissant to her Imagination Library, which has sent over 330 MILLION books to children who might not otherwise have had access to books!
