I'm taking a break from makin' my sawdust to announce this date on my World Tour of Central Arkansas! It's early yet, but circle this on your calendar (does anyone still do that? OK, plug this into your app): I'll be at the Conway Merchant Market at Lake Beaverfork this October 10. Several of my fellow vendors from the Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market will be there too. We hope to see you there! Now to get back to sawing. . .

Conway Merchant Market is right around the corner and coming fast! We have over 90 vendors ready to bring you some of Conway's best local small businesses! We hope to see you all on October 10th from 10 am to 6 pm at Beaverfork Lake Park!

So we're in the middle of the Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market season, but that ends on the last weekend of September. But as soon as market season's done, I embark on my annual World Tour of Central Arkansas, bringing my sawdusty goodness to various festivals in this region. And it may be awfully early to announce this, but I've just booked myself into Winterfest on December 5, and the Christmas Market on December 11, both in the city of Sherwood! Cold weather and holiday cheer may be the furthest thing from your minds right now (especially with the weather we're having) -- but it'll get here sooner than you think! So mark your calendars, and hope to see you then! (And before then!)

Hey, folks! I haven't posted much lately, mostly because I'm also running social media for the whole Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market , and that takes more time than you might think. But I'm still here, I'm still setting up at the market every Saturday morning, and I'm working on booking events for my annual World Tour of Central Arkansas this fall, after market season is done.

I'm trying to stay stocked with all my usual designs, but I'm trying to add new designs, too! When I got a big slab of cherry wood, this stack of dachshunds seemed like a good use for it! You could call it a puzzle, but it's also a stacker -- you can stack these dachshunds one on top of the other, if you've got a steady hand. Look interesting? I'll be taking it to market this Saturday morning, in the parking lot of Antioch Baptist Church at 150 Amity Road. See you there!

While I'm hard at work making items for sale at the Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market, I also sell my work at the Flying C Ranch farm store! I went by today to drop off a few items -- and also to pick up some of their delicious beef. If you haven't been, you should go; it's a real country store, with meat, eggs, produce, pasta, seasonings. . . and some of my wooden toys, with more coming soon! Check 'em out! They're open on Tuesday and Friday afternoons and on Saturday mornings at 730 Rocky Point Road.

I designed this years ago, but haven't made it for a while. This is my strawberry pie puzzle, and it's a little trickier than it looks -- you have to fit the slices together so that they make strawberry-shaped holes. But if you can do that, you end up with a puzzle that looks good enough to eat! And I'll have it -- plus a few other new items -- at this Saturday's Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market! We'll be open from 8 to noon, so drop by Antioch Baptist Church on Amity Road!

This is an old design of mine that I haven't made in a while. Toboreht The Robot is made to be put together in lots of different ways. This is what he looks like when assembled in the usual way -- but you could put his legs growing out of his ears, or his arm coming out of his head. Any silly arrangement you can think of is fine! He won't mind one bit! And you can come see him -- and all my other toys and puzzles and housewares -- at the Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market tomorrow morning!

It seems like I've been so busy making things that I keep forgetting to show you pictures of the things I'm making. But I've got some new items this season that are on the way. . . This toy toolbox isn't new -- I started making them last year -- but it includes seven wooden tools (two of which were in the box when I took the picture, but I promise they're in there!) This is good for hours of imaginative play (which hopefully doesn't include hammering anything breakable!) Come check it out -- along with lots more goodies -- this Saturday morning at the Conway, Arkansas Farmer's Market !

We're here! Let's hope the rain holds off till this afternoon. We have our kids activity set up for them to make chicken crafts, pet baby chicks, and snack on "chicken feed." Come see us this morning at 150 Amity Road, in the parking lot of Antioch Baptist Church!
