Today the The Ohio Tea Fest board of directors met at the Cherry Valley Hotel & Ohio Event Center in Newark OH for a facility review and I can jot be more excited about the place!

Y’all, this facility is lovely! I’m sharing a couple photos of the entryway and a meeting room. We have a large exhibit hall and attached space for live entertainment & tea bar as well as an additional room for tea duels & the Ohio Elegance Afternoon Tea. And just down a short hall we have 3 beautifully appointed breakout rooms for workshops that include a variety of educational and interactive topics.

There is ample parking for everyone, a beautiful courtyard if you want to take a break from the festivities and the staff is superb.

Can you tell how excited I am? Because I’m sooo excited!

I am working a new “Adventure Blend” and I think I have it! May I introduce:
💦 🫐 Blueberry Splash 🫐 💦

I’ve been wanting to make a butterfly pea flower blend for a long time and identifying a perfect base flavor that will stand alone and celebrate the vibrant blue color of the steeped flower was important. But the tea changes color when you add acid (like lemon) to the mix! Depending on the amount of lemon added the color can go from deep indigo blue to vibrant purple or even pink! It’s just the happiest transformation imaginable!

We have 4 entry levels to choose from:

Camellia Sinensis: includes entry to entertainment, vendor exhibit hall, unlimited tea tastings at the Tea Bar and a swag bag with tasting cup ($12)

Nourishment Bundle: includes entry to entertainment, vendor exhibit hall, unlimited tea tastings at the Tea Bar and a swag bag with tasting cup PLUS lunch ticket ($50)

Enlightenment Bundle: includes entry to entertainment, vendor exhibit hall, unlimited tea tastings at the Tea Bar and a swag bag with tasting cup PLUS a ticket to 8 unique workshops ($90)

Adventures with Tea has also reserved 3 double occupancy hotel rooms at the Double Tree by Hilton in Newark OH. Each room has 2 queen beds and can sleep 2-4 guests. Each room is $290. Those interested in joining me in Newark on Friday night can reserve one of these rooms through me directly. We will enjoy some casual evening activities and be ready to hit the workshops and vendor exhibits first thing Saturday morning.
