Gert's Goodies was born out of a need to remain mindful, that and my addiction to baking for my family. Hello, I'm Gert. My love for baking has only grown.

Using recipes that were handed down from family and those that I have created, I craft a variety of homemade cookies, candies, sweet rolls and bread. Well, Gert is a nickname given to me as a baby and it stuck. My name is Cara and I am so excited that you are checking out my page. Gert's Goodies is a dream I have always had in one way or another. It started when I was young and would help my Mom

make Christmas cookies every year. Too many people are genuinely depressed and stressed. It's hard not to smile while eating a good cookie or candy that you didn't have to make.
