What a fun new adventure! This was my first time making custom desserts for an event and I was so pleased with how these mini cakes turned out!

Every cake was made from scratch and completed with homemade cherry pie filling, dehydrated carrots, candied lemon peels, or edible flowers😊

We have a special place in our hearts for all first responders and it made my day to be able to make these cookies for National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

"Held annually during the second week of April, is a time to celebrate and thank the public safety telecommunicators who serve as the first responders in emergency situations. It's a week to recognize and appreciate their dedication, commitment, and the vital role they play in safeguarding communities."

Their colors are gold and black, so we made sure to represent! 💛🖤

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and the Concordia Police Department wants to recognize the incredible dispatchers at Higginsville Central Dispatch who serve as the calm voice in the chaos.

To show our appreciation, we delivered some delicious cookies from Down to Bake for them to enjoy! 🍪💙
