Welcome to our little corner of homemade goodness! I’m so grateful for every person who stops by the bake stand, whether you’ve been visiting for months or just discovering us for the first time. This little dream of mine has grown so much thanks to your kindness and support, and I’m excited to share a bit about who we are and what makes our stand so special.
My name is Lori, a retired dental hygienist, and my husband Doug is my wonderful dishwasher and helps me get everything set up outside for the bake stand. We have 3 kids and 5 grandchildren with more on the way.
Our bake stand is open every Wednesday at 7 am and Saturday
at 8 am, and I will always post updates if dates need to change due to weather, vacations, or holidays. Our menu is typically posted the evening before on my page.
Everything at the stand is baked fresh within 24 hours. Nothing is ever carried over to the next bake day. When I started this little business, I promised myself I would only serve baked goods that I felt proud to share with others — fresh, homemade, and made with care. Since I never know when someone may choose to enjoy their treats, I want everything to be as fresh and delicious as possible.
I use simple, natural ingredients with no preservatives, and I try to make everything as organic as I can. Baking has truly become a labor of love for me, and I take so much pride in every item that goes onto the stand. I am the only baker, and I always do my very best to keep the stand filled for everyone.
I also have some truly wonderful customers, and I’m always happy to fulfill as many special orders as I can. If you ever have an idea or something special in mind, just reach out and we can see what we can come up with together.
