Let's talk about this cake (not my work)that's been circulating through social media platforms. I've been asked to make this cake several times in the past few days.

More than likely this is an AI generated picture. The recipe on mosts posts says it's a Banana Pecan Caramel Layer Cake. I've looked at the posted recipes and it DOES NOT match this picture.

1. It says use three 9 inch pans....this picture has 4 layers.

2. The recipe says that only caramel is between the layers....this picture has buttercream icing between the layers...not caramel.

3. The caramel on top of this cake is a caramel sauce.

I write recipes and I can tell you hands down that the recipe posted for this cake WILL NOT yield this picture. People READING IS FUNDAMENTAL! A lot of bakers are using AI pictures because they're pleasing to the eye. But unless you can successfully modify the recipe you WILL NOT GET THESE RESULTS THAT YOURE LOOKING FOR... NOW

Can I make a cake like this??....SURE, But I would have to rewrite the recipe to make a bigger cake. 😊

Will it look exactly like this?? NO, because I'm not trying to reproducing anyone's AI generated picture. 🙄

Will it look similar....SURE, I'll use it as an inspiration pic but if you want a cake EXACTLY like this you'll need to contact the person who made it...NOT ME.😏

I'm not the cake maker for you if:

1. You want someone who charges like a "hobby" baker. I don't have $25, $35, $45, or $55 cakes or pound cakes. My 6 inch 2 layer cakes start at $65.

2. You want a fondant decorated cake. I don't work with fondant AT ALL.

3. You want to pay when you pick up the cake. All invoices MUST be PAID IN FULL at the TIME OF ORDER.

4. You need the cake "tomorrow". I don't do rush orders...AT ALL. Specialty birthday cakes require a 3-4 week notice. Regular cakes require at least a 5 day advance and depend on my availability.

5. You want free delivery, setup, any kind of family or friend discount, or you think you can pick up at any time other than our agreed upon pickup date and time.
