Come and learn how to make challah and shape it. Using the recipe from Omega Bakery's award winning Challah, we will shape a six braid loaf, as well as a round celebration loaf. Also small knots and rolls that have tons of uses. Known to many as the best bread for French toast, challah is great for sandwiches and sweet or savory bread puddings and Strada. This is a hands on class and we will each be shaping and baking two loaves and some rolls. Sign up at The Mix at Columbus State Class is on Wednesday May 27 from 5:30-8:30.

Learn to make the Pepperoni Rolls that used to be available from Omega Bakery. We will also be making the Spicy Veggie Rolls. These use a lovely Italian based dough, Semelle, which is also used to make the small rolls from Florence. Class is at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 Mitchell Hall at Columbus State.
