Hi 👋 pretzel friends. Its been a long few months for me. Healing the best I can. I wanted to offer an update. 1st off.. Last Tuesday I began SAAT therapy and was told I tested positive for Alpha-gal antibodies. Its been 8 days and I am seeing real positive results so far. If you've got Alpha-gal..message me if can share the information with you.

But mainly I wanted to say bc I'm feeling (kind of human)..lol I've been able to do a little more.
This week I went in and made Ready to Bake Cinnamon Rolls. They are in the freezer. 4 to a pack..all you do is thaw them and put them in the oven to bake. There's even yummy whipped icing to go on top.

Wowza.. March 20th was my most recent post on here!! Thats crazy to me. I've had a few messages asking me where I've been and why the menu is no longer changing. So I thought I'd give you all the run down.
If you don't already know..I have mold sickness. Its awful and has not been easy to heal from. I thought back in November I was over the treacherous part..but..as they did more remediation on my house I was reminded that I intact..was still quite sick. This illness has literally changed my mind..body and spirit. I am left fighting for what my new normal looks like..and its nothing like what I expected. Sooo..I've had to step away and put 💯 of my focus on my health. I am not kidding you when I say..there are days when I'm in bed all day! (I'm not exaggerating)
You have probably noticed our pretzels are still on the menu..
Well Donna and Sean have been gracious enough to continue selling what they can for me while I try to heal. I had a friend message and say they heard I was baking from home (that's actually what prompted this message) NO. I'm not baking from home. The store is closed on Sundays and Mondays..that is our days to go in if/when we need and bake. The menu is extremely limited bc I am extremely limited 😫 and unfortunately it has to be that way until I'm feeling more stable.
I was doing the baked goods there for a while too..but my sales plummeted so I stopped doing those too (for now) but I believe Donna is making a few desserts each week..and they always have that delicious ice cream too!
Sorry I've been absent..it just been extremely difficult for me these last few months. It never occurred to me that I'd still struggle even after getting the mold out of our home 🤯
Hopefully I can see you all again soon.

There's something SO magical about fresh made goodness. You can stop in at your closest big box store and grab a lesser quality..for a lesser price OR you can support your local general store who has many local, fresh made baked goods, breads, pretzels, bagels, meats, cheese, milk ice cream and we even have spices and seasonings. And..offerings for Alpha-gal too!!
Breads with NO fillers..no preservatives or dyes. Just fresh made..like it should be.
*and let's not forget about the Redneck Rueben or that delicious handmade jumbo pretzel!

We aren't just a stop..we are a step back in time..met with a real farm fresh vibe. (A vibe we definitely feel our area needs)

*Bbq pork and Caramelized onion pizza (back by popular demand)
*Bbq pork sandwich on a housemade bun
*smoked bologna and housemade cheddar cheese sauce stuffed pretzel
*Salami and Swiss stuffed pretzel
*Cinna Stix with sweet cream cheese dip
*Caramel apple cheesecake in a waffle bowl

Plus I made

** and freshly stocked for this week our spices and our 4 flavors of pretzel chips. (New Ranch flavor)

This next week is about to be the best. When you're so excited..you can hardly stand it! When you keep upping the game..making great food..fun to eat..that's what we love to do!!
NEXT WEEK...
*Bringing back the smoked bologna and cheddar stuffed pretzel bc y'all loved it so much...but...also adding a few jalapeño popper and smoked bologna stuffed pretzels too (as a special request) which will you like best??
*Also coming back is the BBQ Pulled Pork with caramelized onion pizza (top seller for both of us) shew..we sold a bunch!
*but wait there's more...bc the BBQ pork pizza was a hit we are also offering a BBQ pork sandwich on one of our soft fresh made rolls...yummmm
*ok that's great..but there's even more newness this week..we are also doing a SMOKED MAC AND CHEESE WITH BBQ BRISKET PIZZA!!when I tell you this pizza is to scream for..I mean it (Sean did..lol) we all loved it and we hope you do too!
*and last but definitely not least..Donna and I are collaborating on a new dessert.. it's the caramel apple cheesecake waffle bowl dessert (as always.. everything is hand made bc fresh is always best)

Its about to be an amazing week..
I'll post the full menu but for now you can drool over all of our fun new menu items.
