March ‘22 made 7 years of A Southern Yankee and what an experience it has been. To be shown so much love and support has felt amazing and through the years some of you have become more like family to us! You encouraged us to spend time with our family and then were always there to welcome us back..we really did have the best customers!! We didn’t get everything perfect every time but you still showed up and supported. Oh, how we will miss seeing our regulars and getting to meet new people, hearing about your life updates while sharing ours but the time has come to close our doors and spend more time with family and my two new grandbabies. I was always happy to hear who you were buying baked goods or a casserole for, it made me feel like we were part of a blessing and it let me see what a giving community we live in. My heart wants to follow Gods leading in this step just like I did when I opened ASY. It has not been an easy decision to make but when He keeps showing me its time then I need to follow that. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving us and supporting us these 7 years. This isn’t goodbye, we will be seeing you around and hopefully looking a little more rested when we do🥰 As of now, April 29th will be our last day of business. Much love to you all and thank you again....
