50 pics from where we started to when I decided to leave. A person with a dream and no restaurant experience, and a seasoned pastry chef decided to open a brick and mortar, with the plan to bring pastries from a separate kitchen together with bagels and spreads made in the shop.
I’m proud of what I contributed, from photo #49 when I scrubbed, painted, tiled and polished glass before we opened, to all of the pastry production and catering work executed over the years
We created a lot of things that I’m proud of.
I left in March. Irreconcilable differences in business values and plans for growth.
This page has always been run by me, Mostly because I’m old and uncool enough for Facebook. So this page will cease to exist.
But first, I wanted to give one last look to the repertoire I created to fit this shop’s needs and delight the owner’s palette. I’m proud of the part I played in making Goldie’s as fantastic as it is.
