Do you need some spooky-sweet Halloween treats in your life?!?

Madelynn is raising money to go on the CPS Science trip to the Grand Tetons in June of 2024! She's an excellent baker and decided to raise the money by making goodies. Charlotte, not to be left out, made some treats, too. 🙂

Last day to order is Saturday, October 21. Goodies will be delivered on October 28th and 29th.

Madelynn's treats are: red velvet cupcake brains, Frankenstein's monster swiss cake rolls, nutterbutter cookie mummies, peanut butter cookie spiders, pretzel rod witches fingers, and pretzel spider webs.
Charlotte's treats are acorns made out of nutterbutter bites and Hershey kisses with the log a swiss cake roll.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted about Madelynn’s baking, so we wanted to share her most recent bake. Madelynn participated in a kids’ baking competition at Range Free, an allergen-free restaurant in town. She made a Top-9 allergen-free carrot cake. She had a blast and won the “Natural Beauty” Award! The cake is beautiful and absolutely delicious!! You would never know it’s allergen-free!

Now that the cake has been delivered, we can show you Madelynn’s newest creation. She made a Yoda pull-apart cupcake cake for a special music teacher in her life!

Today was decorating day for our Friday cookie orders. Get excited if you ordered cookies for delivery tomorrow!

We have decided to reduce the price for these cookies because we made smaller ones to make sure Madelynn could decorate them all in a reasonable time. Cookies are $1.00 each instead of $1.50. Still super tasty and beautiful but a little smaller.

Today’s cookie decorating! The left is called a starburst, and the right is called a flower. I love these designs!

Madelynn wanted to try out some new designs today, and this is what she made! She draws the sweetest puppy faces on paper, so she wanted to try them in icing. Aren’t they cute? Can anyone tell what the white circles are?

Madelynn’s 4th of July cookies! She did most of them all by herself but needed some help to get a few of them finished. She learned a lot in the process (like making smaller cookies that are quicker to decorate).
