Today we celebrate Love ❤️. Even though it’s hot outside, there’s a joyful warmth and a gentle cool breeze that envelopes our darling couple on today as they said their I Do’s 💒.

For many, Love ❤️ is truly special when shared with those who find the one who makes their heart smile.

For our beautiful couple on Saturday, the bride radiated with stylish sophistication and class eager to join her soul mate. While the groom anxiously awaited for the one God made just for him. Together amongst family and friends, a covenant commitment was established. Thought the good and the bad, the promised to make it work.

For the cake we went with sleek square tiers, and embellished it ever so simply with small piped gold dots and then adorned it ever so lovingly with delicate handmade sugar flowers. The design was finished with the couples personal monogram.

For even more sweetness the couple added a dessert bar for their guest to indulge for one night only 🙌🏽.

Spring is in the air and new beginnings are all around; and for our beautiful couple we added just a touch of sweetness to an already joyous occasion.

Our destination was Augusta, GA to Gracewood Manor (first time venue for us) and it was truly a peaceful setting. For the cake we kept it classic with an all white fondant design with a simple gold fondant band. Since it is Spring, the cake was adorned in beautiful handmade sugar flowers to add life to the design. We finished the sweet endings with a tasty desert bar of decadent desserts as well.

One of the mostest joyous moments for new parents is the pending arrival of their namesake. But what makes this moment even more special is when it is shared by a community of family and friends that will love and support God’s blessing throughout the child’s precious life.

With each and every event that my business is afforded an opportunity to be a part of; I honor every moment as it is special for my clients and its always my desire to give them the best of me.

For this baby shower we created a Bear inspired contemporary design and created tasty mini desserts for the couple and guests to enjoy.

Lights, Camera 🎥, Action. The birthday girl turns the big 5-0. Another blessed trip around the sun for our lovely client. For the cake, we took inspiration from her invitation which featured a very confident lady stepping out of the pages of a book indicating the movement into a new chapter, a new decade, a newness of embracing life. Layered black and white fondant pleats echoed the pages of a book, enrobing each tier, while the crystal banding and spherical orbs added just the right amount of sparkle. We finished the design with a black acrylic silhouette topper toasting to the occasion and the silver mirror acrylic number 50 proudly proclaimed the purpose and celebration of the event. Happy Birthday Mrs. Johnson 🎉🎂🎁🥳 and may God almighty grant you with 50 more phenomenal years.

Dunkin’ N2 40. Another trip around the Sun and another chance to celebrate a milestone celebration. On Saturday, our client celebrated the big 4-0 with a basketball themed event among close family and friends. . For the cake, we went with a basketball centered theme, using the colors of red, black, white and gold accent. All detailing was hand cut sugarpaste embellishments. I loved 😍 how everything came together. And to add an extra bit of sweetness we created a mini dessert bar that was a hit 🙌🏽. Every once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, Love ❤️ gives us a fairytale.

Life’s moments can be memorable and magical. For our beautiful couple on Saturday evening, the journey proved worthy of the destination.

Amongst family and friends, a chilly winters’ night was made warm with the abundance of love that filled the room.

Declaring their love, our couple now turns another page in their love story.

The cake spoke to the theme of the wedding, Beauty & The Beast. We alternated royal blue and white fondant tiers. Gold sugar paste embellishments adorned the cake, adding texture, while the red sugar paste roses brought the central theme of the story to life.

Scripture declares that one should honor their mother and father and that your days will long on the earth.

On Saturday, we did just that for our mother, celebrating 70 years of life. We celebrated with family and many of her lifelong friends. This moment was indeed memorable and I thank God that I was able to give back to the woman that gave me life.

We gave her her flowers 💐 literally and in life these are the moments that matter the most.

I know it’s not cake Saturday 😂 but hey we’re only one day removed. Took a drive up I-20 to Florence, SC for a surprise 50th birthday celebration hosted at the lovely Osborne’s reception venue.

The cake spoke to my client’s husband turning the big 5-0 and this is indeed a blessing 🙏🏾. For the cake we created a stroll down memory lane adorning the cake with many precious family photos. The guest of honor is also a distinguished member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. so the cake had to speak to this as well. We added other design motifs and added a Lexus convertible which featured a model figure of the birthday 🥳 man. Special thanks to a very talented artist at the University of South Carolina school of art who helped this figure embody the spirit and personality of guest of honor.

The cake was indeed one to remember and I appreciate the opportunity to help add a little bit of sweetness to such a monumental occasion. We say Happy 50th Birthday to Dr. Bruce and may God almighty bless you with 50 more years of love and celebration.

Just Think 🤔 before we met, we were both looking at the same stars and wishing for the same love ❤️—Marc Anthony.

Tonight under the beautiful lights of Uptown Charlotte, our couple no longer wished upon a star, but embraced the stars that dazzled in each others eyes as they lovingly said “I Do.”

The color palette was navy blue, white and gold. For the cake we went with a very modern concept, enrobing each tier in navy fondant, gold separators added height and the gold dots mimic the bubbly sparkle of champagne. We finished the the cake with a Gold monogram and course handmade sugar flowers rounded out the design.

Oh yes 🙌🏽 we created another delicious dessert bar for guest to indulge. Last wedding of 2023 did not disappoint.

A man cries on his wedding day, not only because of how beautiful his wife to be looks, but in that moment time stops, and he realizes that he found favor with God and he granted him the one who was made just for him, the one who truly makes his heart smile.

On Saturday our beautiful couple shared a tender moment amongst family and close friends to declare their profound love for each other in a convent relationship and each declared a commitment to give it their all the make their ❤️ story lasts forever.

The cake was covered in a soft ivory fondant, delicate scroll gold piping adorned the bottom tier, while the delicate soft pink sugar paste roses added a touch a romance. And a hand cut sugar paste monogram seemed to show their hearts interlocking and each embracing the other.

These words ring so true and the moment you find the one who makes your heart smile, it’s a feeling you want to experience over and over again. On Saturday evening our beautiful couple shared a sweet moment amongst close family and friends declaring a love that is eternal.

And you know I can’t conclude the weekend without a cake. This cake was very special as I created this clients cake for her 30th; a major milestone in any adults life. Now 10 years later I had the distinct honor of creating her 40th and this one was truly special. The theme was Mad hatter’s and of course the cake spoke to everything thing this crazy concept possesses. Happy 40th Ariel and thank you for allowing Gardenia’s to share in another milestone celebration.

As our beautiful couple awaits the arrival of their bundle of joy, today was a special day; the BABY SHOWER! A Chance for friends and family to impart wisdom, knowledge, gifts and most importantly surrounding the baby with a Love ❤️ so profound they can feel it.

For the cake we went with more earth tones. We added teddy bears 🧸 for that classic baby feel while adding texture and dimension throughout the design.

Now we’re on the 3rd and final day, the Melse Ceremony.

For those that don’t know the Ethiopian Melse is a reception that occurs on the day after the wedding for close friends and family members hosted by the Bride's family. The bride and groom wear traditional habesha clothes as well as a “Kaba” which is a traditional cape embellished with gold or silver trimmings.

For the cake we wanted to honor the Melse with a cake that beamed with tradition and the pride of Ethiopia. The cake, covered in white fondant boasted traditional cultural and religious motifs and then was hand painted in the colors of the Ethiopian flag green, yellow and red. We added a braided rope separator for textural contrast.

Overall the design was modern, yet bold and still honored the culture through and through.

Ok are you still with me. Now let’s talk about Day 2: The Wedding day; set on the beautiful waters of Charleston, SC at the stately Island House venue.

The theme was enchanted garden and for me this meant a design that’s elegant, whimsical and of course lots of flowers 💐 😍; and I was like yes please. Again we’re back in Charleston, SC for Day-2 , the traditional wedding ceremony of our lovely couple Nick & Tiffany.

The cake was a towering 6-tier creation covered in soft ivory fondant (7 if you include the separator 😂). To bring in a level of enchantment we added a key hole set against a rustic textured fondant to resemble a distressed door frame. This detail was then surrounded by a gold painted fondant appliqué and yes we placed a key ever so delicately at the bottom tier beckoning for someone to unlock the magic that awaits inside. But the Piece De Resistance were the bountiful hand made sugar paste flowers that made this cake scream enchantment; and for an addition of flight and movement we added butterflies that happily danced amongst the florals. The outcome was both pleasing and fit completely in the couples vision for their special day.

The planner that made this all come together was the Uber talented diva of all things events; Dawn of . Florals for the reception provided by .

This weekend was an epic 3-Day Wedding celebration for my couple now husband and wife. This involved three trips to beautiful Charleston, SC

Take a little walk with me if you will. We started with the Rehearsal dinner where we presented a travel themed luggage Groom’s cake that featured flags of the countries the groom has visited along with some of his other interests to include photography and cycling.

This a a beautiful surprise for our groom, a gift from his lovely bride.

All things are done for a purpose and marriage is no exception. Those who can weather the marriage woes and celebrate marriage triumphs are blessed indeed.

Tonight our beautiful couple celebrated years of marriage by having the dream wedding they never had. This night is a declaration of their commitment to LOVE ❤️. Sharing this moment and this memory will only make them stronger; and having the village that truly supports them made this experience that much more joyful.

For my couple we created a beautiful 5-tiered cake covered in satiny white fondant. We added dimension and texture throughout the design to make the eyes journey from top to bottom. So many elements made this a beautiful symphony of design and I am honored to share this moment with them. We also created a tantalizing dessert bar to give guest another sweet experience 🙌🏽.
