Our sourdough sandwich bread just got an upgrade! 🍞 We’re now adding organic, freshly milled Khorasan wheat to our sourdough sandwich loaves! But what exactly is Khorasan? 🌾 An ancient grain – Khorasan is an ancient variety of wheat known for its large, golden kernels and naturally rich, buttery, slightly nutty flavor. 🌾 Freshly milled – Instead of using flour that's been sitting on a shelf, grain is freshly milled by . This allows us to use the whole grain, including the bran and germ, which contain fiber, vitamins, and minerals. 🌾 More flavor and nutrition – Khorasan naturally contains protein, fiber, and minerals like magnesium, zinc, and selenium. 🌾 Still our sourdough– We’re keeping the naturally fermented sourdough you know and love, just adding another ingredient we're excited about! Our goal has always been simple: make good bread with good ingredients. And we're always looking for ways to make it even better.
