’Twas the night before Christmas, the kitchen was bright,
With sprinkles and giggles and icing in sight.
Little hands gathered round cookies laid bare,
Planning sweet treats just for Santa to share.
Red, green, and white made a colorful mess,
Licked fingers, big smiles, and joyful success.
Stories were told, traditions took hold,
Moments worth more than the cookies or gold.
So sprinkle the love and savor this part,
These memories baked straight into the heart.
For long after Santa has come and has gone,
These nights in the kitchen are what linger on.
