🏁🤍 When wedding elegance meets the racetrack…
I had so much fun creating this rehearsal dinner cake for a very special couple!
Since the groom races cars, I wanted to find a way to incorporate something he loves into the celebration while still keeping the cake elegant and wedding-appropriate. The result was this black-and-ivory cake featuring racing tires and tread details, delicate vintage-style piping, fresh flowers, and a Mr. & Mrs. topper.
I love when a cake can tell a little bit of the couple's story—and this one was the perfect combination of his love of racing and their upcoming wedding day. 🏁💍
I also had the opportunity to help create the setting for their rehearsal dinner. I designed the fresh flower arrangements and decorated the tables with soft greenery, candlelight, and touches of sparkle to coordinate with the beautiful florals.
From the cake to the flowers to the tablescape, I loved bringing all of the details together for such a special evening.
