A lot of new folks around here with the start of the cake cart, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself! 👋
Hey, I'm Mae! A small town Oklahoma girl who truly believes cake makes everything better 🎂 Married to my true love and a mama to one precious little girl 💕
I grew up having cake for any and every celebratory occasion (and even on random Tuesday nights when deemed necessary) and blown out birthday candles is one of my most nostalgic scents 🕯
I started Redfetti Cakes in November of 2022 and had absolutely no idea what I was doing (seriously just created a website one day and said, "why not?"). Through the Lord's favor and blessing, the support of family, friends, and cake lovers of my community (and lots of practice!), Redfetti grew into something I never dreamed it could be! 🎉 Almost 4 years later and I have had the honor of creating hundreds of cakes to help the people around me celebrate all the things - birthdays, weddings, showers, quinceaneras, graduations, the list goes on!
There have been downs - crying sessions on the kitchen floor over dropped cupcakes and embarrassing stories involving many a buttercream snafu, to name a few. But the ups have been many more and every message I get that the cake I created brought joy and delicious-ness is worth it all 🩷
It means the world to me that you all trust me with one of the most important parts of so many celebrations 🍰 Thank you for coming back again and again, I don't take it for granted!
