My sourdough story!
The past year has tested me in ways I never expected. Between a fractured pelvis, hand surgery, that got infected, a cyst on my ovarie and then surviving a heart attack, life forced me to slow down—physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were moments when it all felt heavy, and I needed something to keep my hands busy and my mind steady.
That’s when sourdough found me.
What started as something simple to do—something calming, something healing—quickly became a source of real joy. Learning the rhythm of the dough, experimenting with flavors, and watching something come to life through patience and care gave me purpose during a difficult season.
I began sharing my bread with friends and neighbors, just to spread a little comfort. Before I knew it, people were asking for more. What started as a hobby quietly turned into a small neighborhood business—one built on love, resilience, and community.
Today, every loaf I make carries that story. It’s more than bread—it’s proof that even in the hardest seasons, something good can rise. I’m grateful for the healing, the joy, and the connections this journey has brought me, and I’m honored to share it with you.
