I'm so excited to be here combining my two biggest loves, cupcakes and adoption. To raise money for our final adoption expenses we offered a rotating assortment of cupcakes to our neighbors weekly and were able to fund half of our trip! I fell in love with bringing joy to families by offering my love of baking and have decided to make Pink Elephant cupcakes available all the time! Check in each

I found an app I’ve had on my phone forever but I actually started playing with it and see lots of potential for cake planning! I can either just choose the colors I want on my own OR I can use a photo to create a palette by using a color select tool. Imagine sending me an invitation and I could pull colors directly from it 😍. So fun. This was a very quick attempt and I made a real life call to use warmer colored greens based off the themes of the cake I was working on. What colors would you love to see on a cake?

Throw back to one of my favorite cakes ever! I let my daughter design her own cake for her 7th birthday and faithfully made it as requested ❤️. I would LOVE to do some more of these for your favorite minis! *** 🎂 *** We realized recently that our Google page was disconnected. That had been the primary way new customers found Pink Elephant. I know everyone is tightening budgets right now and luxury cake is just that- a luxury, but realizing it was a technical issue causing a bit of a slow down over here is encouraging. Hopefully new friends will find us again soon but I’m also working on some ideas to make some more budget friendly “everyday” type of cakes. I miss a busy kitchen and can not wait to see what y’all dream up for me ❤️.

Alas. This weekend is the Wellborn Market, but with an increasing chance of storms I’m going to go ahead and call it for Pink Elephant. Because our products are all made fresh the week of market and are perishable it’s just too high of a risk for us to make items that won’t get to be enjoyed. I love being at the market with y’all and am bummed that again we’re going to not be able to. In the meantime- remember we can always do a custom order of any of the items you’ve been looking for! A quick porch pickup and you don’t even have to get out of your car!

This past Saturday was cloudy and gloomy outdoors but that didn’t stop warm and cozy celebrations indoors. This sweet rosette cake was sent off with joy for a very loved baby girl and her growing family 🌸. When I tell y’all I’m grateful you let me help you celebrate these moments in your life- I mean it. I may be elbow deep in a sink full of greasy dishes and exhausted at midnight sometimes, but joy truly comes in the morning when I get to see these little peeks into your joy.
