Cake of the week is SO GOOD!

Cocoa cake with hints of coffee, blackberry filling and a mascarpone cocoa frosting.

If you’re not a chocolate cake person, you need to try this one, it’s not your average chocolate cake. It’s not too sweet and the mascarpone creates the best creamy frosting.

Everything from baked scratch, including the filling. No short cuts in my kitchen 😆

My June babies requested chocolate cake and this one won’t leave them with a sugar crash later.

A four week wait turned into ten weeks....

My biggest purcahse yet for the bakery hasnt gone as smooth as we would like however our newest investment is here! 10 weeks of waiting on not one, not two but THREE bread ovens to finally be delivered.

To say I'm excited in an under statement and also I can't help but feel blessed. I wouldn't need these ovens if my amazing customers didn't keep buying the bread.

This just opens so many doors and hours saved. I have been baking 20+ loaves currenlty over the course of a day in 2 ovens. Now I can bake at least 12 in one bake session!

I have so many plans for what will be baked in these ovens but again THANK YOU for loving bread, scones, and quality baked goods as much as I do.

This weeks sourdough loaves were baked to perfection with way less stress and I couldn't be more pleased with them.
