At Washington-on-the-Brazos Historic Site, where the Republic of Texas was born, visitors can now experience history through a one-of-a-kind granite walkway that tells the story of the state’s founding.

Coldspring partnered with Clark Condon to bring this vision to life through intricate granite maps, historic flags, planters, and seating elements crafted from Carnelian® and Mesabi Black® granite. Thousands of individual stone pieces were carefully fabricated and installed to create a lasting tribute to Texas history.

The result is more than a walkway. It is an interactive experience that invites visitors to pause, explore, and connect with the past.

The Out of the Darkness Walk hosted by American Foundation for Su***de Prevention AFSP Minnesota took place last week, uniting our community in remembrance, support, and hope for those impacted by su***de.
