Any interest in quail chicks? I'm thinking about doing a hatch. They take 18 days to hatch. I can sell them as unsexed or hold them until they can be sexed. Quail start laying between 6-8 weeks old!

It's a sad morning here at Gurganus Acres. After a year of having Chickens and just adding Quail, Ducks and Turkeys, we have had our first predator attack. Unfortunately whatever it was killed 8 out of 9 of my Ducks.

Unfortunately this is part of homestead and we can only learn from here. 😪

I am waking my sourdough starter up from it being in the fridge so I will be able to make all things Sourdough again soon! I've missed all my customers and doing markets!

6ish more weeks until baby Waylon is born. Hopefully once I recover I can start doing markets again!
