Every morning I talk to one of my sisters. On Aug 4th I called her as usual and because I wasn’t feeling well. Something was happening to me that was not right. My sister immediately called for help. Even though I was yelling at her not to. Talk about sister love!
Fast forward to today because so much has happened.
That morning, I walked into the ER actively having a stroke. I lost some speech capabilities, right side movements and where with all. I was able to gain those functions back within a short period of time. The doctors are still amazed how my brain responded and recovered so fast. Also I am a healthy active 37 yr old, to have a stroke is extremely rare.
I’m back home currently. My family have been by my side from start. I cannot thank them enough.
Winter, mommy’s boo girl! Has stepped up and is right with me.
As for the bakery, my team has been holding it down!! They stepped right in!!!! Gina, Sue and Chy ( my dream team). I’ll be back to normal life soon. With some changes of course. I ask for your patience as I am adjusting to the unknown for me. At this moment a lot of my “normal” activities I’m doing for the first time again. If you know me, you know I’m a fighter and strong. I am looking forward to returning to baking and teaching classes!
I stress I am back home, well and grateful. I could say so much, however the best way to sum it up is. GOD IS GREAT! See you all soon let’s get back to baking with a purpose! Your girl Nelly 😊.
