We're slowly getting settled in! We have a tentative open house/grand opening scheduled for non other than National Bakery Day September 25th

We also have hours!
Wednesday through Friday 8 to 5
Saturday 8 to 12

A little behind-the-scenes update from The Bakery Downtown!

If you’ve stopped in recently, you may have noticed that the cases are looking a little bare. Don’t panic—we haven’t forgotten how to bake. 😂 We’re beginning the process of cleaning, organizing, and remodeling as we move toward the new Bakery Downtown aesthetic.

That does mean my beloved Betty Boop collection will be retiring from bakery duty—which hurts my soul a little—but I truly think the new look is going to be fantastic!

I also want everyone to meet Katlyn! She has jumped in, grabbed the reins, and has been working incredibly hard to get everything cleaned, organized, and moving in the right direction. Katlyn will be there Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m., helping customers and handling cleaning and prep work for me. She’s going to be a familiar face around the bakery, so please make her feel welcome!

Although we don’t currently have the display cases stocked, you can still find extras available for pickup in two places:

PS how about a big THANK YOU to all of you who WROTE US IN enough to vote us #2 Bakery! 😳😳😳 We didn't even enter the River City Choice Awards this year and you all showed us the love anyway. When I got the call my gasts were definitely flabbered! 😂 The future is still bright Cakefans, very bright 😎
