Happy Sunday, friends!

Not a typical weekend around here, but we have been keeping busy with preparations for one of our busiest times of the year🇮🇹

Our pre-order for breadsticks, bread, and sauce cut off tonight, so get those last minute orders in! I know I have a few days of correspondence to catch up on, so tomorrow all orders will be confirmed and responded to (I like doing it all in one sitting.. makes it a little easier on me😊)

If you checked out our story yesterday, it had a little sneek peak at our upcoming menu for this weekend! These sweet treats were listed and we tested them today.. simple and sweet and a little bit nostalgic💚🤍❤️

Friendly reminder that we are closed this weekend as we are deep into preparation for the Little Italy Festival (aka, tons of breadsticks are being made daily!)

Festival prep has officially began here at Sweet & Sourdough Bakery!

Breadstick production started yesterday and after being under the weather the past few days, I was able to get in here and finalize our menu and do a little Festival drink testing (check out our Cannoli Latte pictured below👀) I am very excited for our menu this year, as I am really focusing on Italian classics and flavors🇮🇹

Don't forget to pre-order your breadsticks, italian bread, and Villa Sauce! The pre-orders are open until Aug 30. We will have all of these items available in store during Festival weekend, but pre-orders guarantee those items for you!

We are loaded with the sweet and savory rolls this Sunday morning!

Sweet variety includes original Cinnamon, blueberry muffin, peach cobbler, and smores

Chicken Parm and Chicken Alfredo rolls are our savory options! Shredded chicken, parmesan cheese, and either Villa Red Sauce or Alfredo Sauce fill the middle and are served with a side of the respective sauce! (limit 2 per flavor on these)

We also have all the cookies, cupcakes, creamhorns, and lots of 20% off bread!

We are here until 2 today🔆

Your cupcake line up for the weekend is looking pretty 🔥🔥

Half Baked- homage to the Ben & Jerry favorite. Chocolate cupcake topped with vanilla buttercream with bits of chocolate chip cookies and brownies. Finished with cookie and brownie chunk.

Cotton Candy- cotton candy cupcake topped with cotton candy buttercream. Finished with cotton candy pop rock candy.

Classic Birthday- yellow cupcake with a big swirl of chocolate buttercream. Finished with rainbow sprinkles

Raspberry Chocolate Chip- chocolate cupcake with raspberry chip buttercream. Finished with fresh raspberry and chocolate ganche.

Lemon Cheesecake- vanilla cupcake with housemade lemon curd full. Topped with whipped cheesecake topping, graham crumbles, and lemon curd.

Peanut Butter Oreo- chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter spread. Oreo buttercream, Oreo cookie, and peanut butter drizzle top it off.

Sourdough and Italian Loaves are on the breadshelf, along with some flakey salt foccacia!

Open until 1 today.

🇮🇹Ordering is open from today, Thursday, August 19 until Sunday, August 30.

🇮🇹2 ways to place order:

1. Send a message via Facebook. You will get an automated message stating that your order is recieved. Later this weekend, Chelsea will go through each message and verify each order and send a total due at time of pickup. ❗️Do not send any order to either Jason or Chelsea's personal Facebook messenger. They will not be seen or accounted for❗️

2. Order in store during business hours this weekend!

🇮🇹Pickup will be Friday, September 4.

It is our official last week of summer here at the bakery🔆

We are bringing back some favorite flavors from the past few months and one more Jalapeño Cheddar Saturday before we move into Little Italy mode.

Sunday, we will have our Flight of Four Rolls special.. and we are are testing some new savory versions! And yes, they are absolutely Villa Style😉

A few important announcements..( these will all be posted again multiple times)

🇮🇹Little Italy pre-orders will begin tomorrow. I have a scheduled post and once that hits, the pre-orders may begin. We will be offering pre-orders for breadsticks, italian bread, and Villa Red Sauce. More info on post tomorrow!

🇮🇹We will be CLOSED next weekend, as we spend all of next week making breadsticks (and doing other prep) for festival weekend

🇮🇹Our finalized menu and festival days/hours will be posted by next week

🇮🇹This is a very special, but busy time of year for us.. as well as the rest of the town! All of the volunteers and small businesses work their butts off to provide an exceptional experience for festival goers. So, as I will always preach.. extending gratitude, patience, and kindness to others during this busy time costs absolutely nothing.

The cookies this week have probably been my favorite flavors recently!

Do not sleep on the Blueberry Poptart Cookie.. it has taken the top spot in my personal cookie rankings! Actual Blueberry Poptarts mixed in our original dough and filled with a housemade blueberry fill.. it is devine!

We have cupcakes, cream horns, macarons, cinnamon rolls, and turnovers.. plus a stacked 20% off bread shelf.

And yes, we still have a stock of breadsticks.
