🍂 No bread drop this week, friends!

The Imperfect Loaf kitchen is taking a little fall breather. No porch pickup this week — just a few days to reset and enjoy October while it’s showing off. 🍁

I’ll be back next week with fresh sourdough and something cozy. 🤎

Okay, THIS is how you use a loaf. 😍

Nothing makes me happier than seeing The Imperfect Loaf in the wild — especially when you all turn it into meals like these.

🥑 Avocado, egg & sourdough toast

🍳 Shakshuka with plenty of sourdough for scooping

🥚 Jammy eggs, avocado & a beautifully toasted slab of everything seeded sourdough

Keep sending your photos — we LOVE seeing what happens to our loaves after they leave the porch. 🤍🍞

And yes… this is your midweek reminder that orders are open through Thursday at 8 PM for Saturday morning pickup in Clifton. Order link in Bio — or send me a message!

Monday bread appreciation post because sometimes Plain Jane absolutely shows off. 😍

Crispy, blistered crust. Big dramatic ears. Just flour, water, salt — and a little sourdough magic.

Labor Day weekend calls for good bread. 🇺🇸🍞

As always: small batches, real sourdough, and absolutely no promises that every loaf will behave itself. 🤍

The heat may be on, but the oven is doing what it does best. ☀️🍞

Every loaf is handcrafted, naturally leavened, and slow fermented for incredible flavor, texture, and digestibility. Just simple ingredients, plenty of time, and a whole lot of love. 🤍

If fresh sourdough is on your weekend menu, there’s still time! Orders are open until 8:00 tonight for Saturday morning pickup in Clifton.

Stay cool out there, drink lots of water, and let me take care of the bread. 🥖

🥯 Test Kitchen Tuesday

✨ Smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, and fresh scallions folded into naturally leavened sourdough. Rich, savory, and surprisingly balanced. Toast a slice, add nothing at all, and you’ve got breakfast… or lunch… or dinner. I wouldn’t judge. 😉

🍞 Orders are open now through Thursday at 8:00 PM for Saturday morning pickup in Clifton.
