Wayyyyyyyy back in 2020, we teamed up with our friend Johnny of Mr. Cupcakes and released a cold weather take on our confectionery series, paying tribute to his famous red velvet cupcakes!
Sadly, the pandemic shutdown struck between the time that beer entered our brew house, and when we were able to release it into the wild. While a lot of locals got to get their hands on the beer via home delivery, the vast majority of our friends and fans never got to taste the nectar of the beer and cupcake gods.
Well, not any more!
We've teamed up with Mr. Cupcakes again, and will release Cupcake Soles back into the wild on Friday, January 14th, 2022!
#CupcakeSoles is a #DefinitelyNOTGlutenFree Imperial "Red" #Stout, coming in a touch above 7% Alc./Vol. We brewed with #beer with over 100 of Mr. Cupcakes #RedVelvet #cupcakes themselves in the mash, and actively added Lotus #Hops during the boil, for a touch of vanilla and citrus. After fermentation with a hazy IPA yeast, we conditioned the beer on fluff, cocoa, and milk sugar.
Pouring a deep, clear red, Cupcake Soles comes at your pie hole.. we mean cupcake hole... with rich, sweet flavors of cupcakes. Expect some chocolate fudge and marshmallow frosting on the palate, followed by roast boozy goodness!
