The 2026 Parade of Homes officially kicks off this Saturday, and there’s still so much to do! If you need me today I’ll be at my desk, coordinating volunteers and making sure all of the proper signage is at each house so nobody gets lost! (Remind me to tell you the story of the time my best friend Roomie and I got lost on our way to a Yankees game-we were so stressed we barely kept our roofs on straight!).

Introducing Homey!
Our Parade of Homes logo brought to life, Homey will be your fun-loving guide throughout this year’s Parade. He’ll share behind-the-scenes looks at the Parade planning process, sneak peeks at this year’s homes, and his hot takes as an honorary judge.

A little bit about him:
He’s a 2 story Colonial and has lived in the Capital Region his entire life. He loves family sitcoms of the 90’s (Full House & Home Improvement are his favs), chips & guac, and cozy nights at home. He’s a chatterbox and loves to talk all things home design, but whatever you do, do NOT bring up TV design and reno shows to him (he’s very passionate about expectations versus reality when it comes to the industry and will talk your ear off about what TV gets wrong).
