Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s to come at Biggers Family Farmstand!

We are CLOSED again this Saturday as the kids have another Cross Country meet that has us waking up at crazy early hours… but I personally am on pins and needles incredibly excited about what we are bringing to all of you this fall.

This is a pretty obvious hint… if you’ve driven by lately you might have seen an even more obvious one! We have a brand new, permanent building for our stand! Pretty on the outside, asking for lots of work on the inside.

Once we check a few things off our list, we will open up a permanent spot for you to come by and grab duck and chicken eggs, lemonade, hand-thrown pottery and whatever else I whip up! Special events are being planned too, so follow us as we not-so-patiently wait to share it all with you! ❤️ Have a wonderful weekend!

It has been fun having zinnias this year, planted in June and they’re still blooming out here in my front flower bed, although they’re leaning because of how heavy the stalks have become.

The neatest thing to me has been seeing so many varieties of butterflies drinking from the little yellow mini flowers in the center! Some I have never even seen before. I’m happy to provide a place for pollinators to drink, especially monarchs!

We love this little redbud tree where the tiny swing hangs. We have had the swing since before our oldest was born- more than 13 years ago!

During a storm a couple of months ago, our redbud split in two! We were so sad, but Granddaddy cut off the split limb for us and we went to Roger’s Ace Hardware for some tree spray. I cleaned out some bugs that were chewing on the trunk, and sealed all around the split spot with the spray, just praying it would work! The tree died back like it often does in the summer heat…

Now it’s September, and it has put out leaves again! Praise the Lord! We have very few trees up on our hill and we are so happy to have hopefully rescued this one❤️
