Councilman David Bortolotto has been honored to serve on Middleburg Heights City Council since 2001, first serving Ward 3 and now serving at large. He supports economic development and is proud of the city’s increased income tax revenue of $4 million since 2006 as well as the creation of nearly 7,000 new jobs. Additionally, the city has achieved and Aa1 bond rating that must be maintained. Council
man Bortolotto knows we must continue to prioritize infrastructure improvements that reduced and eliminate flooding risks throughout the city. Meanwhile we must protect our residents with initiatives like the CodeRED Citywide Emergency Notification System. Councilman Bortolotto serves as the chair of the city’s Public Health, Safety and Relief Committee. He also serves on the board of the Southwest General Health System. Bartholomew Church and has been married to his wife Laurie for 37 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
