Got a little impatient waiting for my girl Jade to get back, so I decided to test out my skills. 😂🍓

Before anyone asks—NO, these won’t be for sale! I’ve already got Jade holding down the candied fruit department, and she does an amazing job. ❤️

I was in the kitchen making macarons and started craving some strawberry crunch treats, so I figured I’d see if I could pull it off. Not gonna lie… they turned out pretty cute. 👀🍓✨

I’ll stick to the baking and leave the candied fruit magic to Jade, but this was definitely a fun little kitchen experiment!

P.S. Before anyone zooms in and asks... that's not hair. 😂 It's candy floss from the melted coating and drizzle.

Just came out to close the farmstand doors for the night… and it still amazes me that people stop by at all hours of the day! 🥰

The best part? We never really close! 🌙✨ The Flour Patch Farmstand is open 24/7, so whether you work late, start your day before sunrise, or just need a midnight snack run, we've got you covered.

I've been in the kitchen baking all day and I can't wait for y'all to see everything that's coming! Right now we have:

What flavor do y’all think these macarons are going to be? 👀 Or better yet… what flavor do you WANT them to be? 🤔💕

These little beauties are getting ready to head into the oven, but if you’ve never made macarons before, you might not know they are one of the most time-consuming treats to make!

Macarons start with a delicate mixture of egg whites, sugar, almond flour, and powdered sugar. The batter has to be mixed just right—not too much and not too little—then carefully piped onto baking sheets.

After piping, they have to rest until a skin forms on the outside. This resting period is what helps create those famous “feet” on the bottom of the shells when they bake. Once baked, they cool completely before being filled, and they actually taste best after maturing in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours!

One of my favorite things about macarons is that the shells themselves are made with almond flour, making them naturally gluten-free. 🌿 The only exception would be certain fillings or toppings, depending on the flavor.
