🌸 They say the third time is the charm… 🌸
In January 2022, life took a beautiful turn when our foster daughter came back into our care just before her 2nd birthday. With a toddler at home, homeschooling our older boys, and the joy (and chaos!) of family life, I knew my attention was needed most at home. Quietly stepping away from Milk & Honey Bakery was a hard choice, but one I’ll never regret — those years were absolutely worth it. 💕

Fast forward to today: my oldest son has graduated, our little one is now off to Kindergarten, and our middle son is thriving in high school. For the first time in a long time, I finally have the space to slip my apron back on and return to the kitchen — the place where I feel most myself. ✨

For those who are new here (or just getting reacquainted):
👩‍🍳 Hi, I’m Jessie! I’m originally from Texas, now happily rooted in Clermont, Florida for the past 6 years. I went to culinary school and have been baking professionally for over a decade. I’ve always believed sugar is my art form — and creating edible art that helps people gather, celebrate, and savor life’s sweetest moments is my passion.

So what can you expect from Milk & Honey going forward?

Happy Monday!!! I’m so excited for a new week!

My entire family (including myself) was sick at some point in the second half of last week so it’s been a struggle to get anything done.

I’ll be getting caught up on messages, emails, and sending out price quotes today so if you’ve been waiting on me thank you for being patient over the last few days.
