Disclaimer: I am not a doctor nor do I specialize is Lactation. Always consult your doctor or a lactation specialist. Lactation cookies are just that… cookies!  They are not a regulated FDA medication with a set dosage.  Not every woman responds the same. Women have different needs when it comes to increasing supply; some are looking to boost one or two ounces per day, while some are hoping to up by 10 ounces. These cookies contain ingredients that many lactating mamma’s have claimed to help milk production. I can speak from my own personal experience they have helped me increase my supply.

*Contains: wheat/gluten, eggs, dairy, flaxseed, and oats. Full ingredient list available upon request.

Orders accepted via Instagram and FB. DM for more information.

☕️Hot Cocoa Pancakes. ☕️I took my favorite hot chocolate recipe and turned it into a pancake! These are definitely here to stay and a recipe that I will be passing to my daughter. These pancakes pack in a LOT of flavor and a nice punch...you’ll see why! Don’t be afraid of the heat it makes for an amazing dish. Great for holidays, parties, or special occasions!

1 cup flour
2 heaping tblsp of cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1 egg
1/2 cup of milk of choice (I like my pancakes a little thicker so I just eyeball it)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of butter extract
Cinnamon and cayenne pepper (add as much or as little as you like)
3 tblsp brown sugar
1 tblsp melted butter
Mini chocolate chips and marshmallows (add as many or as little as you like)

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together well. Spoon batter onto a pancake pan on medium to high heat, flip, and enjoy! Top with powdered sugar, whipped cream, and chocolate chips.

🎄Second bake for Nochebuena. Cranberry Orange scones. My spin off of orange scone. The key with these is to make sure you are using COLD butter. Try not to work the dough too much. You want to work with it quickly so you don’t melt the butter in the dough. That’s how you achieve light, fluffy, and flakey scones. 🎄

🎄Feliz Nochebuena or Merry Christmas Eve! 🎄In my house we celebrate Nochebuena and do it up Cuban Style. Lechón con arroz y frijoles and traditional flan for dessert.

I’m baking up a storm today trying some new techniques to old recipes. Pictured here is a traditional Spanish Flan. Very easy recipe but very hard to get right! I’ve been making this for years and I feel I’ve only ever gotten it right a handful of times.

I use 4 eggs, 1 can of condensed milk, 1 can of evaporated milk, and 1 tblsp of vanilla extract for the custard. Whisk together and strain with a sieve. For the caramel I use 3/4 cup sugar to 1/4 cup water to help stop crystallization.

You have to cook the caramel first in a sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until you reach a golden amber color. You can’t walk away from the caramel it will turn and burn FAST. Then add it to your flan pan and swirl it around. Watch your temperature and cook time in the oven. Pro tip: let the caramel cool before you add the custard mixture into your flan pan (I use a regular cake pan). Cook your flan in a water bath on a lower heat setting (325 degrees) until you see a slight jiggle in the middle about 50-60 min.

Cook times can vary from oven to oven so you really need to keep an eye on it. That’s when it’s ready. Let it come to room temperature before putting it in the fridge. Let chill over night and turn out on a serving platter. Enjoy amigos! 🎅🏽

Hi friends! Happy Holiday Season. I hope you all are doing well, staying safe and happy with your loved ones! I know it’s been a while since I popped on here. The reason for that is because I got pregnant back in June. I’ve been using this time to take care of myself and my baby girl. As I prepare for her arrival in February, I’ve decided to transition this page into a creative outlet where I share my most recent bakes and recipes. I will no longer be accepting orders or selling my treats. Perhaps one day I’ll decide to open up shop again but for now this will be more of a creative space where I share my creations. Thank you to every one who purchased and tasted my treats and for all the wonderful support and feedback I received! Baking is my passion and it does not end here. You’ll be seeing more of my recipes and treats on this page moving forward. Hopefully you’ll get to try making my recipes for yourself and let me know what you think!

Stay safe out there. Please continue to do your part and wash those hands, sanitize, wear masks, and social distance!

*I will not be sharing the recipes to my menu items that were for sale earlier this year. Those will stay mine. If you have an event or craving for one of my menus items, please contact me directly through messenger, phone, or email. If it’s for small orders made in advanced I may be willing to make and deliver those to you at the original prices listed. The menu items and prices will remain on this page in the event that I decide to open up shop again or in case you’d like to contact me about a private order.*

Hi friends, just wanted to hop on here to let you all know that QCB is currently closed for orders for the time being. There’s a lot going on personally (exciting things), announcement coming soon! Keep your eye on this page. I will be opening up orders in the future. For now I apologize for the silence, it’s been a very busy time. Love to all. Stay safe!
