The idea behind Drone’s Deliveries came to our founder, Catherine McManus, during an English project at her alma mater, Clemson University. She understood the pains that came from staring out of an apartment window, searching for the pizza delivery car to arrive. Even still, on a college budget it was increasingly tedious to have to tip driver after driver, causing a serious problem for her wallet
. Catherine wanted a wider selection of delivered food—not just pizza, but pasta, salads, even sushi—and she wanted to make a change that could benefit everyone. Since then, the idea has blossomed into a largely-scaled company, encompassing over three hundred employees and bringing business to restaurants across America. One day, we hope to have food delivered all over the world, and with every new customer we are getting closer to doing just that. Here at Clemson, it can take around 45 minutes for pizzas to be delivered from Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc., and entrepreneurial deliverers can take about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how busy they are. That’s where we come in: our drones bring you fresh food, without having to tip a driver. Feeling nostalgic and miss that Chicken Parmesan from your hometown’s favorite Italian joint? We can help with that. Unhappy with the quality of seafood that locals try to sell, even though you live in a landlocked area? Let us ship fresh lobster to you, straight from Maine. Been dying to try those cupcakes from the Netflix show you’ve watched for the past few weeks? Sure the bakery’s located seven states away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have its products delivered straight to your door, and fast. No delivery fees or tips necessary. Drone’s Deliveries has the safest, most reliable drones—even better than Amazon’s and Google’s—and ensuring our customers’ safety is our upmost responsibility. How exactly do we ensure this, especially since drones have been extremely controversial? It’s simple, really. We use the standard protocols, such as flying height, and go beyond that. For example, it is today’s standard for drones to fly at a 300 feet altitude in order for them to not run into any obstacles or be hindered by passerby’s interference. Our drones, though, fly at 400 feet in altitude, and have been tested for over five years before being put into live use, making them the safest drones on the planet. Based out of Clemson, SC, our goal is to bring some sunshine from God’s country to wherever you’re located. Food is a way of connecting people, so what better way to unite America than to share each other’s local cuisine? We hope to one day be responsible for bringing the country together, no matter the state lines, and we seek to accomplish this mission, one customer at a time. Have any questions, comments, or concerns? Our 24-hour customer service line would love to hear from you and can surely help out with whatever assistance you need!
